New Event: Sustainable Purchasing & Supply Summit 2011

SPSS Logo

The Sustainable Purchasing & Supply Summit 2011 is the first UK event to present an holistic view of sustainable procurement: considering the need to balance environmental, social, ethical and economic factors when building a successful strategy in this area.

This major new conference is organised with The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) and takes place on Thursday 31st March 2011 at the prestigious QEII Conference Centre in Westminster, London.

With sustainability rapidly becoming a business imperative, an intensive one-day programme takes a practical approach to understanding the key issues, setting specific objectives and implementing a successful action plan. Key contributors include senior speakers from Boots Group, BSI Standards, Diageo, Global Action Plan, Green Economics Institute, John Lewis Partnership, London Business School, Ovum, Oxfam, Traidcraft and many more.

The event is aimed at senior procurement and finance executives from the private, public and third sectors and is being chaired Steve Bagshaw, the highly-respected Editor of Supply Management

Places currently cost just £245 + VAT for CIPS members (a saving of £50 when you use the booking code: CIPSSPSS) including access to all conference sessions, networking lounge and innovation showcase, plus lunch, refreshments and special drinks reception at the end of the day.

Visit www.spssummit.com for full information and booking details.

Revolution’s Event Management Service more popular than ever…

With marketing departments under increasing pressure it seems that the ‘outsourced’ events option is more attractive than ever to both commercial and public sector organisations alike. A number of new and existing clients have now appointed us to organise their entire events programme including dealing with external contractors, internal stand staff and the event organisers directly – all for a fixed monthly fee. The payback for clients is clear.  More time to focus on the key strategic aspects of their business, safe in the knowledge that the events programme is being expertly managed for the maximum return-on-investment.

Green IT logoWe are delighted to announce a change of venue for the forthcoming Green IT Expo event on 9th November. Having been held at The Barbican Centre for the last two years, we have decided to re locate to the QE11, a more formal conference centre, which we feel better reflects this maturing event.

Green IT Expo will now offer a single days’ rich seminar programme, with strategic presentations from thought leaders, practical advice and the latest innovations from industry experts such as Forrester, Frost & Sullivan, Carbon Trust, the British Computer Society, Microsoft and VMware.

Information Security Solutions Europe 2010 has Government Support

ISSE logoThe 12th ISSE conference will be hosted by the Federal Ministry of the Interior in Berlin in October, a very apt city for this year's conference as on the 1st November 2010 German ID cards will be issued in the ID-1 format.  This has led to the information security and identity management topics being highly debated not only on a German level, but pan European, and ISSE will provide a neutral environment for all ongoing discussions surrounding the industry as a whole.

Great feedback from AIIM Roadshow

AIIM conferenceThe 18th annual AIIM Roadshow had great feedback this year from both exhibitors and delegates:

‘The preparation, support and delivery of the whole event ran smoothly due to a strong organisation team. This allowed us to get the best possible outcome in terms of launching our new scanner and lead generation. There was a good spread of attendees across the four shows, both from the trade and end users. Being our first AIIM we were unsure of the outcome, but we can positively say that it was a worthwhile venture and we’ll be looking at booking again for next year!’ Genus IT

'Both our sales and marketing teams were delighted with the quality of the delegates attending this year’s AIIM Roadshow.  The format of the event combined with the multiple locations have made for a very engaging and worthwhile event.  Revolution Events have been very successful in getting the right people to the Roadshow – well done and many thanks!'
